SHOOTING MISHAPS.
YOUNG MAN’S DEATH. Per Press Association. TE AROHA April 9. While shooting on Saturday evening Ronald Stockley, aged 23, slipped and received a charge from his gun in the head, causing instant death. He is survived by his widow and an infant. YOUTH SERIOUSLY HURT. WHILE NEGOTIATING FENCE. Per Press Association. OAMARU, April 9. Allan Mould aged 17, was seriously injured yesterday when his rifle went off as he was getting through a fence at Kakanui, the bullet entering liis side. He was sent to hospital and his condition is serious.
