PILGRIM’S PROGRESS.
A dramatised version of the Pilgrim’s Progress in modern dress, with “Sloth” and “Simple” looking like modern street corner loungers, and with a policeman in modern uniform, is being presented at Blaenauffestiniog by a Welsh dramatist. The women players in the Vanity Fair scene will be fashionably dressed", with men’s flannels, vivid blazers, and plus-fours. The organisers are particularly proud of their Hell scenes, which promise to be lurid and realistic enough to make the most hardened sinner think again, says a London cablegram.
