MISHAP IN RAIN.
CAR STRIKES WOMAN. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, April 9. At the result of being struck by a motor car at a street intersection last night, Mrs Ellen Moorehouse was admitted to hospital with serious injuries. It was raining at the time and the driver a high school boy, stated that lie did not see the woman till it was too late to avoid an accident.
