Travellers arriving from Bolivia report that a serious revolution Iras been, in progress for several days, with casualties running into hundreds. The populace, according to the reports, are resentful against the Government’s disastrous prosecution of the war with Paraguay in Gran Chaco, which has now continued for two years with the Bolivian forces rapidly losing ground and sustaining heavy casualties. Students started an anti-Government movement, with army units later joining. The loyal forces bombed the rebels, killing and wounding many.
