LORD TYRELL’S FAREWELL. (British Official “Wireless.) RUGBY, April 5. Lord Tyrell, the retiring British Ambassador, was given a farewell reception at. the British Embassy in Paris to-day. The British colony are presenting Lord Tyrrell with a moroccobound book bearing his coat-of-arms and containing the names of the subscribers to a number of farewell gifts.

The King has approved the appointment of Sir Josiali Crosby, British Minister at Panama, to be His Majesty’s Envoy Extraordinary 7 and Minister Plenipotentiary at Bangkok, in succession to Mr E. F. Former. Sir Josiah Crosby 7 began his diplomatic career in Siam, and lias previously served in Bangkok as Vice-Consul in 1911 and acting Consul-General, 1919-20.
