THE COAL INDUSTRY.
ANGLO-POLISH DISCUSSIONS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 5. A delegation of Polish coal-owners will arrive in London next week for a discussion, with British coal-owners on markets and prices. Although the meetings will be between industrialists, it was on the Government’s suggestion that the mining association invited Polish industry representatives to this country. The discussions are a sequel to the recent British trade mission, to Poland, and are of special interest in view of the fact that negotiations will begin shortly between the Polish and British Governments for a general commercial treaty.
