GOLF PROFESSIONALS.
PROGRESS AT ROEHAMPTON. Received April 7, 1.30 p.m. LONDON, April 6. In the first round of match play at the Roehampton professional golf tournament, the results included the following:—Perry beat Twine, 3 up and 2 to play; Lacey beat Mitchell, A and 1; Cotton beat Holland, 4 and 3; Davies beat Curtis, 4 and 3; King beat Sayner, 2 up. In the second round Perry beat Denny, 1 up; Lacev beat Cotton at the 19th hole; R. W. Whitcombe heat Davies, 5 and 4; Kenyon beat King, 4 and 2.
