THE FIRST LEVEE.

AT ST. JAMES’S PALACE. (British Official Wireless.) Received March 14, 11.20 a.m. RUGBY, March 13. The first levee of the year was held to-day at St. James’s Palace, but it was robbed of some of its usual pageantry by rainy weather. Nevertheless, large crowds lined the Mall when the King drove from Buckingham Palace. His Majesty was loudU cheered. About 900 people, including the Diplomatic Corps and officers of all the three Services, attended the levee.
