REFRESHER COURSE.
SCHOOL FOR TEACHERS. Arranged by the Wanganui Education board, a teachers’ refresher course, extending over two days, will o]}en at the Central School, Palmerston North, to-morrow. It is anticipated that 114 teachers from 28 pnrnary schools at this centre and the surrounding districts will be in attendance. Meanwhile the school children over a wdde area, as far away as Parewanui and Awaliou North, will have two days’ holiday. Instructresses for the coarse will be Miss Kennedy (lecturer) and Miss Blackbourn (physical drill), of tho staff of the Auckland Training College. The main features of the sessions will be preparatory and junior division practice, handwork and physical drill.
