FIRE AT WAIROA.
Per Press Association. WAIROA, March 13. At 1 a.m. to-day a fire was discovered in Mrs Keats’s drapery warehouse. The brigade effected a good save a.nd the damage to the building is not serious, but the loss in stock is heavy, due to water and smoke. The cause of the outbreak is attributed to an electric iron being left on, as this was discovered on an inspection of the building later. The building was owned by Mr J. P. Moore, but the insurances on it or the stock are not available.
