Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 13'. Miss Edna Rainey, aged 16 years, lowered Alias P. Robertson’s 100 yards New Zealand swimming record for intermediate girls from 65 3-ssec to 65 l-ssec to-night. Miss Rainey’s time is only ssec slower than the time in which Miss Barbara Lewin won the Auckland senior ladies’ championship last month, and 2-ssec outside Miss M. Farquhar’s New Zealand senior record.
