MAN AND WOMAN. POINTS OF DIFFERENTIATION. A PSYCHOLOGIST’S FINDING. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received March 14, 9.20 a.m. LONDON, March 13.

• Differences between men and women revealed by exhaustive laboratory' tests were described in a lecture by T Professor Cyril Burt, psychologist, to the London County' Council. He said that although women were interested in household arts nearly all labour devices were invented by men. There was no clear difference between the sexes in general intelligence. Comparing women with men, Professor Burt said the skin was twice as sensitive. They could endure more pain, were quicker to detect the presence of odours, tended to be more short-sighted than long-sighted, were more dexterous in finer movement, and had better memories. Men had more sense of movement and position were quicker to detect the finer difference in similar odours, had an almost monopoly of blindness, were much more prono to colour blindness, were more dexterous. in coarser movement, arid were more imaginative.
