GRAND CONCERT.

The success of the Palmerston North Garrison Band at the Dominion Brass Band Contest is still fresh in the memories of residents, but many have probably not had the opportunity of hearing the band perform since their return. That opportunity will be furnished them to-morrow night, when a concert at which the - champions will render the contest selections wili be held in the Opera House. Lieut. E. Webb, of Wanganui, the champion cornet player of the Dominion, will be heard to advantage in items, as will Master Ron. Woods, the boy champion. Supporting artists include Miss Z. Lcainy, Miss Myra Wilson, Miss Gwen Gibbs’s pupils, Messrs F. A. Wollerman, F. Gedsen and J. Wilson who will give variety to a programme which promises to be of exceptional merit.
