RELIEF ALLOCATIONS.
PROTEST SUGGESTED. Per Press Association. HAWERA. Feb. 3. At a meeting of citizens convened to organise a week’s carnival for funds for unemployment distress relief last night it was recommended that the local committee take steps to organise a Dominion-wide protest against discrimination against the smaller towns, as compared with the cities in the Unemployment Board’s allocations.
