SOLID BRITISH SUPPORT. (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, Oct. 29. In a message addressed to the Conservative candidate at the by-election proceeding in the Skipton division, of Yorkshire, Mr Stanley Baldwin, reiterates the Government’s deep interest in the cause of disarmament. j He says: “The whole country, irrespective of party, is solidly united in favour of peace and disarmament by international agreement. The British Government has been striving to achieve it, and there never was a time when it is more necessary for the people to give the Government their support on this issue.”
