FOR BRITISH CHEMISTRY. BY GERMAN EXILES. Received October 31, 12.45 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 30. The Daily Herald says that British chemical manufacturers are taking full advantage of the expert knowledge offered by German chemists exiled by the Nazis. The ingredients of a large number of medicines hitherto only obtainable in Germany have been revealed. As a result doctors and chemists have received a list .of 161 such preparations which are now being manufactured in Britain. It is found possible to produce many preparations much cheaper than they were hitherto obtainable from Germany with the result tha.t these are now available to the ' poorest patients.
