USE IN BRITAIN. LONDON, Oct. 29. _ How the totalisator has gripped Britain is shown by the fact that the Racecourse Betting Control Board’s turnover for the year already passed is £4,000,000, thus ensuring a record year. It is calculated that fifteen to twenty million totalisator bets have already been handled this year.
