IRAQ’S TROUBLES.
ASSYRIANS ON THE MARCH. RESIGNAT 10N~OF CABINET. Received October 30, 10.25 a.m. GENEVA, Oct. 29. A message from the Foreign Minister of Iraq, Nuri Pasha, states that alarming reports have been received to the effect that 400 armed Assyrians are seeking to cross the Tigris into Syria. Nuri Pasha immediately warned the Secretary-General of the League and the French authorities of the danger, adding that the Iraq Government would not be responsible for anything that happened. The Iraq Cabinet has resigned. King Ghazi did not adopt the Premier (Ali Beg’s) suggestion for a general election and asked his Ministers to carry on pending the formation of a new Cabinet.
