SPRING SHOW.
COMMENCING ON WEDNESDAY. A programme giving all the events to take place at the Spring Show which commences on Wednesday next for three days and three nights will be found on page 1. On Wednesday tho programme will include the maiden jumping competition and steer-riding; on Thursday there will be an afternoon of horse events; on Friday further jumping competitions and the grand parade of live stock. Of special interest is the steer riding to take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Some of New Zealand’s best riders will be seen in action and the public are urged to attend what should prove an exciting and thrilling afternoon. Visitors should make a special point of viewing the Manawatu Kennel Club’s Dog Show. From indications received it is confidently believed that entries in this section will be much, higher than previous shows and patrons are assured of a great exhibition. . Besides these outside attractions tho various halls will be found to contain exhibits varied'and interesting.
