RADIOPHONE SERVICE
IMPROVEMENTS PLANNED.. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, - Oct. 29. Experiments designed to extend the hours of communication and. tlie general efficiency of the Australian radiophone service were discussed by Mr E. T. Fisk, chairman of Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia), Ltd., and Colonel Angwin, chief of the Post Office "Wireless Department, during a- visit, to the Rugby' and Baldock wireless stations, which radiophones are the English terminals. The Press Association understands there is considerable promise of curtailing the period of wireless beam fading. ! Air Fisk is visiting Germany on October 29 at the invitation of a German wireless company, and thence Holland. He will inspect the French overseas wireless service, the management of which is interested in the possibility of establishing a direct service to Australia.
