MOTOR BOAT SPEED.
LONDON, Sept. 25. Prior to the fire oil tlie speed boat Miss Britain 111, Mr Scott Paine attained a mean speed of 95.08 miles per hour, beating Miss Betty Carstairs’s sea mile record of 86.21 and Sir Hem-y Segrave’s unofficial record for singleengined boats of 92.78 a.t Venice.
