CREDIT REFORM.
Many readers are new to the idea of credit reform, and they often wonder no doubt what it is all about. Tho movement was started in 1918 by the publication of an article by Major C. H. Douglas in the English Review, and it was carried on thereafter in the New Age by Major Douglas and Mr A. R. Oragc, jointly, in England. As a result of years of work there now exist thousands of groups for study and propaganda. There is scarcely a city, not only in England, but in tho whole literate world, where a credit centre is not to be found. Recently Captain Rushworth, M.P., delivered a preliminary address oh this " important subject of credit reform, and next Thursday, at 8 p.m., in the Opera House, Mr A. E. Robinson, of Auckland, will continue the subject and deliver an address on the Douglas Social Credit proposals. Mr Robinson is an excellent speaker and one who has a thorough knowledge of tho subject, and will illustrate Ins address with the use of the blackboard and diagrams. The Mayor (Mr A. E. Ma'nsford) will preside. _
