BRITISH AIRMAN’S DEATH. Received September 25, 8.40 a.m. CAIRO, Sept. 24. Four Arab bandits bailed up Aircraftsman John Howard, when he was walking with his fiancee. Miss Tippett, near Heliopolis. Howard grappled with one and another fatally wounded him with a shotgun. Three bandits were arrested, one of whom Miss Tippett identified. Over 100 arrests have been made in Kabul following the recent outrage in the British Embassy. They are mostly students who have returned them Europe. At least ten people were shot by King Nadir’s orders. The city is quiet.
