FATAL ACCIDENT.
DEATH OF LABOURER. Per Press Association. , , , -WHAKATANE, Sept. 25. A labourer, E. Jarrett, was killed this morning in the Poroporo gravel Phi- He was running beside a loaded lorry, when he slipped and fell, a lorry wheel passing over him and crushing his head. Death was instantaneous. He leaves a wife and ten children.
