TENNIS SEASON
ST. PATRICK’S CLUB. The official opening of the season was held by the St. Patrick’s Tennis Club during the week-end, when there was a. largo gathering of members, while visitors were present from Napier, Hastings and AVellington. The attendance indicated the strength of the club and augured well for a highly . successful season. Rev. Father Herlihy officially opened the courts for the season, and wished the players a very successful time. Proceedings subsequently were informal, play being of a practice nature.
