LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN.
On Tuesday evening last the Oddfellows’ Hall presented a gay scene when the members of “N” Squadron, Legion of Frontiersmen, entertained their friends. It had been decided to take advantage of the broadcast programme, but in view of the altered arrangements. Frontiersman AA’orsfold organised an excellent orchestra which kept the dancing going till midnight under the charge of S.M. Merton and Frontiersman AVickes, who acted as M.C.’s. Extra dances were played by Mrs C., M. Stanley and Pipe Sergeant Smith. Winners of the competitions were: Monte Carlo waltz. Frontiersman and Mrs R. Hill; Lucky Paul Jones, Mrs King- and Mr E. C. Hammond ; Lucky Gay Gordons, Mrs Jensen and Frontiersman G. AVickes. The supper arrangements and decorations were in the hands of a committee of ladies and left nothing to be desired.
