RUGBY LEAGUE.
TEAM FROM SYDNEY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 23. The St. George Rugby League team arrived by the Monterey to play five or six matches in New Zealand, the first match being this afternoon against Devonport, the Auckland’premier team. The team is captained by J. Rutherford and the average age is 20 years. The team was runnerup this year for the Sydney championship.
