GARRISON BAND CARNIVAL.
Admission is free to the carnival which is to be held in the Empire Hall on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday next. " The carnival will bo opened by the Mayor (Mr A. E. Mansford) at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, and a baby show will be held at 3 p.m. the same afternoon, with trophies for babies under six months and under 12 months. Stalls, sideshows and dancing will be features every evening, and for each evening something different in the way of special items has been arranged.
