The butter market is quietly steady at the present time, Now Zealand produce showing an improvement on 'the previous week. The following are the ruling prices, last week’s quotations being given in partlijhses : Danish, 120 s (120 s) ; choicest salted, New Zealand and Australian, 108 s to 110 s (100 s); unsalted, not quoted. The cheese market is displaying steadiness. New Zealand, white, 54s (52s 6d) ; coloured, 55s (not quoted) ; Australian, 52s to 53s (51s to 52s 6d).
