COLYTON
(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Sept. 20. Tho closing of tho ping pong season at Colyton was celebrated on Monday evening with a ladies’ and men’s handicap tournament and a dance. There was an exceptionally largo gathering with most of the neighbouring clubs well represented. Enjoy bio play occupied the first part of the evening, the winner of the ladies’ trophy being bliss J. Weallcans, with Miss N. Prico (Aorangi) as runner-up. Mr R. Weallcans was the winner of tho men’s trophy, with Mr Pentecost (Bunnythorpe) runner-up. After the presentation of trophies supper was served and dancing indulged in until tho morning hours. Mr A. Feeney supplied the music and Mr W. Hocken acted as M.C.
