ART UNION PROCEEDS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 21. The Minister of Internal Affairs lias announced the alolcation of the proceeds of the last art union, amounting to £IO,OOO, as follows:—Distress relief, £5000; Home of Compassion (Wellington) , £800; Smith Family, Wellington, £250; Wliangarei A. and PSociety, £100; Hamilton Y.M.C.A., £800; Canterbury Officers’ Club, £250; Franklin A. and P. Society, £500; Egmont National Park Board South Committee, £800; South African Veterans’ Association, £250; Mangonui A. and P. Society, £500; Wellsford A. and P. Society, £350.
