ALL SAINTS’ MEN’S CLUB.
There was a good attendance at last night’s dance held by the All Saints’ Men’s Club, and a varied programme of old-time dances was fully enjoyed. The music was supplied by Mrs McNeilly (piano) and Mr Milroy (saxophone). Mr F. Caple played several extras and Mr J. Penketh was the M.O. The prize for the Monte Carlo dance was won by Mrs Young and Mr J. Johnson. A progressive euchre tournament was held in the adjoining hall and the winners of the prizes were as follow: —Miss Trotter (ladies) and Mr M. Hitchin (gentlemen). The consolation prizes were won by Mrs Mansfield and Mr Goff respectively. Appreciative reference to the patronage accorded was made by Mr Penketh who announc'd a further dance to be held. An excellent supper was provided by the committee.
