BRITISH TREASURY.
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 19. The latest Treasury returns show that the ordinary revenue for tire current financial year up to September 16 amounted to £257,692,185. At the corresponding date of last year the amount stood at £253,899,990. Ordinary expenditure to date for the current year totalled £307,385,272, which is more than £32,000,000 less than the total ordinary expenditure at the corresponding date of last year.
