Lang, leader of the Opposition in the New South AVales Assembly, is petitioning His Majesty to withhold assent to the Legislative Council Reform Bill has puzzled the Dominions Office, which is not aware of any appeal pending .to the Privy Council. • The Royal Assent has already been given, therefore the Bill becomes law, but Mr Lang appears to seek a revocation; in other words, be asks His Majesty to revoke his own decision, which is final.
