TOC H MOVEMENT.

For the purpose of introducing the Toe H movement in Feilding, Mr Ormond Wilson, of Bulls, came to Feilding , last night and' met a number of young men at the Presbyterian manse. Mr Wilson, who is the leader of the movement in the Wanganui-Rangitikei-Manawatu district, explained, the origin of Toe H from its inception at Talbot House, a wayside inn at, Poperinghe, Flanders. The speaker . went into considerable detail regarding the conduct of the movement and explained that candidates had to - go through a six months’ probationary . period before being accepted as full members. Likewise the group had to fulfil a lengthy probationary period prior to its being accepted as part of the movement. .Mr Wilson stated that, while not sectarian, the movement was certainly spiritual and members were, required to take a v pledge that they would listen to the voice of God through Christ. Members were asked to proclaim the Gospel without preaching it and, by the example of their lives rather than by the word of mouth, to

spread the spirit of sacrifice • and service. Following Mr Wilson’s survey of the aims of the movement, it was decided to form a group in Feilding and a further meeting will be held within the next fortnight to proceed with the proposal. It is expected that Feilding will have about a dozen candidates for the group to begin with.
