PURCHASE OF HORSE.
CASE ADJOURNED. A case was heard before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, wherein P. T. Jamieson, milk vendor, of Palmerston North, claimed from G. H. Mallett, farmer, of Kairanga, the sum of £2O, the purchase price of a draught mare bought from him in November, 1931. Mr Gordon appeared for plaintiff and Mr Ongley for defendant. After hearing the evidence of a number of witnesses, the Magistrate decided, in view of the conflicting nature of the evidence, to adjourn the case so that additional witnesses could be called.
