WANGANUI TRACK WORK. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Sept. 20. - There were several heavy showers last night, but the weather was. fine for ‘ the training operations this morning. Fiji went five furlongs in 1.4. Striding out well, Acceptable ran half a mile in 50 l-ssec. Maypass and Quebec covered a similar distance in 51sec. Knollmcro ran five furlongs in 1.4 4-5. Count Palatine and Brambletorn did six furlongs in 1.18. Tantara ran half a mile in 52 l-ssec. Slippery and Passion Fruit went five furlongs together in 1.5 2-5. The lattor wont particularly well. A largo number of others did serviceable work.
