MUNICIPAL BUSES.
OPERATIONS DURING AUGUST. Passengers carried during August by the Palmerston municipal buses numbered 33,061, and the total revenue was £387 4s 4d, according to a report submitted to the City Council, last evening. Compared with the corresponding month of last year, the number of passengers carried decreased by 95, but the revenue increased by £1 18s.
