CRIME IN INDIA.
KIDNAPPING INTRODUCED
CALCUTTA, Sept. 11
A new type of crime for India was committed at Lahore when the 13-months-old son of Purabchand Malliorta, a Punjab millionaire, was snatched from its Indian nurse’s arms while she was walking in a park. The knidnapper drove away in a car. The nurse, in a desparate light to save her charge, was injured. Police are scouring a big area. A limitless reward has been offered by the grief-striken parents.
