TRIBAL RULER.
STRIKING FIGURE PASSES.
Received September 12, 9.45 a.m. CALCUTTA, Sept. 11. Tho death has occurred of the Khan of Kalat, the ruler of the confederacy of nomadic tribes of Kalat State, in Baluchistan.
He was installed by the Viceroy on April 26, 1932, and was a striking figure in white robes embroidered with gold, wearing the ancestral headdress studded with priceless precious stones.
