Louis Bleriot, the famous French aviation pioneee, has been forced out of the aircraft business owing, allegedly, to lack of support by the Government. illustrations show the machine which Bleriot flew when the English Channel was first crossed by air in 1909, and the giant monoplane in which he made the same flight on the corresponding date in 1929, demonstrating the enormous gulf bridged by aerial development.
