MR STANLEY BRUCE.
HIGH COMMISSIONERSHIP. SYDNEY, Sept. 11. It is announced that the Australian Resident Minister in London. Mr S. M. Bruce, will resign from the Ministry and the House, and be appointed High Commissioner within the next three weeks.
MR BRUCE RETICENT. Received September 12, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 11. Mr S. M. Bruce at present neither confirms nor denies the report regarding the High Commissionership. He awaits Mr J. A. Lyons’s action in the matter.
