AIRMAN’S FUNERAL.
GENERAL DE PINEDO
NEW YORK, Sept. 8. General de Pinedo, the Italian flying ace, was given a full military funeral, with Requiem Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, to-day. Later his body was placed aboard the Italian liner Vulcania for shipment to Rome.
Italian sailors from visiting war vessels acted as a guard of honour. A large wreath from Signor Mussolini, bearing his name, was presented.
