REPRESENTATIVE HOCKEY.
SELECTION OF MANAWATU TEAM
Thirteen players from whom the Mnnawatu Hockey Association’s representative team will lip chosen for the challenge match against Auckland for tlie New Zealand shield, on Saturday, have been announced, as follow: 11. Hoare, Monlelth, R. Iloare, Lundy, O’Brien, Smith, Hansen, Pratt, Fekersley, W. Sutton, Hart, Turner, and Harris. Those accompanying the team will lie. Mr G. Fitzgerald (manager), Mr W. H. Wilson (president of the Manawatu Association, who will be one of the referees), Mr R. L. C. Aitehison (a past president of the association) and Mr F. Lewis (masseur). The selectors are Messrs F. McLnchlnn. A E. Blackbonni and R. L. C. Aitehison. Mr F. Cousins lias been the coach. A final practice game will be played at tlie Park Road grounds on Wednesday at 2.30 p.m. against the following team: Ward, Blummont, Black, Harris, Winks, Hollicr, Bell, Brace, Voss, Nesbit, Turner.
