The dairy farmers of Britain, by an overwhelming majority, voted in favour of a scheme for a national regional milk pool covering the supply contracts of 150,000 farmers owning 3,000,000 cows. It is expected that Mr J. H. Maggs, managing-director of United Dairies, will have supreme control of the scheme, under Major W. E. Elliot, Minister of Agriculture.
