SCHEME FOR BRITAIN
HUGE PLAN FAVOURED.
(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received September 5, 1.20 pan. LONDON. Sept. 4. The dairy farmers of Britain, by an overwhelming majority, voted in favour of a scheme for a national regional milk pool covering the supply contracts of 150,000 farmers owning 3,000,000 cows. It is expected that Mr J. H. Maggs, managing-director of United Dairies, will have supreme control of the scheme, under Major W. E. Elliot, Minister of Agriculture.
