Many are stated to have their bags packed and their motor-cars always ready for instant flight over the frontier.

Events are expected to come to a head on the national holiday on September 12, which marks the 250th anniversary of Vienna’s deliverance from the Turks.

The health of Dr. Dolfuss is suffering as a result of political and economic strain and the illness of his wife.

The Austrian Press is heavily censored.
