POLICE TRANSFERS.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 9. The following police transfers have been announced at Auckland: Detective-Sergeant T. Kelly, who lias been stationed at Auckland for the past 14J years, to take charge at Stratford Detective-Sergeant R. Issel, who was to have been transferred to Stratford, will take charge at Ponsonby; Detective-Sergeant J. Martin, who has been in the Auckland detective office for the past three years, has been transferred to Wellington.
Advice has been received of the transfer of Constable J. 'J. Culloty from Palmerston North to Wellington. Constable A. S. Ward has been transferred from Wellington to Palmerston North.
