The depression which was in the western Tasman Sea having deepened rapidly and moved on to the Dominion. The pressure in the far south was 29.0 inches at 9 a.m. At Hobart there has been a rise since last night.

Strong north-westerly winds, reaching gale force at times. Weather cloudy to overcast and warm with rain at times, with heavy falls in ranges; seas rough.
