Received February 9, 10.40 a.m. SYDNEY, Feb. '9. Charred aiul rusted by long exposure in the salt water, parts of an aeroplane were washed ashore at Jervis Bay. They were examined by mechanic experts at Mascot who are emphatic that the parts are not those o.f the Southern Cloud, but they are considering the possibility that they may be portion of Captain Hood and Lieutenant Moncrieff’s ’plane.
