DEGREE EXAMINATIONS.
SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS. In the cabled results of degree examinations that have been received appear the names of several Palmerston North students. Miss Elizabeth W. Birnie, formerly , a pupil of the Palmerston North Girls’ High School, obtained the degree of M.A. with honours, while Miss Margartha Hill, another ex-pupil, passed the final B.A. Miss Kate L. Simkin, formerly a member of the staff of the school, secured her M.A. degree. Former pupils of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School were successful as follow:—Honours and M.A., S. Rockel; Master of Arts, H. B. Massey; pre-requisite for M.A., R. W. Cumberwortn; second 8.A., B. B. Tier; final B.A. (except history), T. W. R. Gibson; final, B.Sc., P. J. Mcllroy. Results at Massey College were as follow:—Honours and M.Sc., Katrine F. Hursthouse; final B.Sc., 0. M. Shroff.
